Drum Set Warm-Ups: Essential Exercises for Improving Technique (Berklee Guide) Right now

As a Newbie Drummer I was looking for various books to get me loose and moving.

This book is an excellent book for growing through the kit. I cant speak as a pro, but as a babe at the kit I can say this book has opened my body, my eyes and my ears to a new way of approaching the kit. Being a righty, the warmups really push the left side of my body.

As with anything, when you start, you feel it in your limbs. They will tire easily and the weak side of your body will want to take quick breaks. I tend to practice 40 measures of any exercise I do to slowly build endurance. When I am "There" I up it to 80 measures.

These are very freeing and really limber me up for a day of practice with the family. (We all play)Get more detail about Drum Set Warm-Ups: Essential Exercises for Improving Technique (Berklee Guide).
