I bought this for my students who are truly beginners so that they would have some goal music. As noted, it is not for beginners. I don't think the time signatures or keys are difficult; the rhythm is difficult because it follows the notes as Chris Martin sings them. This means it's lots of eighth and sixteenth notes and dotted notes and ties. I got A Rush of Blood to the Head at the same time. This original music doesn't have the melody, it is meant to to be played and sung at the same time. It's only slightly more difficult, so I recommend getting A Rush of Blood to the Head instead of this "Easy" piano book.
