My husband previously had a copy of this book and lent it to a friend of ours who was learning to play guitar. The friend had a house fire and the book was destroyed in the fire. I purchased this for him to replace his original. He plays the guitar and this book contains the music to many songs that we both know. We belong to a little group that meets and plays folk music and I notice that others in the group also have this book. Amongst us old hippies it's a favorite! There are many songs that you might know the first verse of like This Land is Your Land, but do you know verses 2,3,and 4?
