Watching Stevie Nicks whirl about the stage in her latest concert DVD, it's flat-out impossible to believe that the "queen of rock and roll" is past 60. She looks half her age and sings and acts like it, too. This is easily the best "official" concert video she's ever done, better than "Stevie Nicks in Concert" (1981) and "Stevie Live at Red Rocks" (1986, which had to be extensively reshot because at the time it was originally filmed, she was in terrible shape due to her substance-abuse problems at that point). She's in a good place these days, and does she ever show it; she's happy to be on stage, happy to be in front of her devoted fans, happy to be singing her classic songs. The 17-song set list is a really ecletic mix from her career plus several covers (I'd never have dreamed back when I first became a fan of hers a quarter of a century ago that she'd one day cover Led Zeppelin's "Rock and Roll" regularly live, but she does!) If you have bootleg tapes, pitch them, because this is the real deal. :) Impossible to recommend it too highly!!Get more detail about Stevie Nicks: Live in Chicago.
