I bought this with a Korg CA1 Chromatic Tuner that was cheaper than the mic, and it's very much worth it. It improves the accuracy for tuning my clarinet and violin. More importantly, I play within a group that has more than 30 people. Instead of stopping all warm-up and practice to tune, we would just pass the mic around since it's a contact mic and picks up no interference.
